Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Rs. 25,000 pm (consolidated)

Eligibility criteria ( योग्यता ) : The applicant should have completed his/her Bachelors with GATE/NET qualification or Masters in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Engineering/Physics with atleast 70% marks. Applicants are expected to have a strong knowledge of Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Monte Carlo simulations and Polymer physics. A strong programming skill either C/C++/Fortran/Python is required. Knowledge of high performance computing systems and clusters is desired if not absolutely necessary. Knowledge of Density Functional theory is a plus.

Research Associate

Pay scale ( वेतन ) : INR 36,000.00

Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Postgraduate degree (PhD) in Material Science & Engineering/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biomedical/Nanotechnology discipline. Experience of working with Inductively Coupled Plasma –Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS), Publications in reputed internationally indexed Journals.

Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Exposure to mammalian Cell culture studies/isotope fractionation/ Motivated Researchers willing to perform experiments with a keen eye to data interpretation. Experience of working with analytical instruments (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GF-AAS, Microwave Digestion, Transmission Electron Microscopy) is a bonus. Should be a team player and willing to work with a large team with multiple Institutions.
